KS-APS and i-APS present: Food Security Net for Communities Experiencing Conflict and Natural Disasters
We are happy to present our latest publication on Food Security Net for Communities Experiencing
Conflict and Natural Disasters. Having worked closely with Agriculture consultants and the
communications team from KS-APS, i-APS has produced this handbook as part of a series of learning
products aimed at supporting farmers worldwide, with a particular focus on the MENA region, with
best practices in Agriculture Development and Food Security.
This handbook aims to help with the following:
-Understand basic concepts of Food Security Net Programs (FSNP) with special focus on food
-Explore reasons of introducing FSNP, with special focus on Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
-Highlight primary models of FSNP.
-Understand potential impacts of FSNP on food security.
i-APS and KS-APS Agriculture and Food Security work focuses on implementing practical, relevant
and innovative solutions for more efficient and sustainable agricultural production to enhance local
food security, income, and nutrition.
