JOB DESCRIPTION –Mid-Level Front-End Developer

Kosovo Advisory, Products, and Systems (KS-APS) is a consulting firm based in Kosovo that provides high quality services to clients in the areas of financial management, innovation products, and communications. KS-APS is seeing to fill the position of: Mid-Level Front-End Developer

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop new UI in Javascript, Bootstrap (HTML + CSS), and JQuery
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Experience working with a modern framework like Angular or React
  • Act as a Team Leader and supervise the front-end development of software applications starting from design, to deployment, evaluation, and maintenance.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, tracking support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
  • Show and further acquire strong knowledge on using version control systems, preferably, Github or Bitbucket
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Present work and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and facilitate communication among them.
  • Conduct software debugging processes including the technical analysis and testing of the developed product according to the i-APS’s requirements, and recommend solutions to identified technical issues.
  • Submit progress reports to Product Development Manager.
  • Possess good communication skills and willingness to work in a team
  • Provide technical expertise in facilitating the recruitment procedures for new local front-end programmers/developers.
  • Identify and suggest necessary training on coding skills for front-end development (including specific programming languages) for staff members in Kosovo engaged in developing software applications

Skills to be demonstrated:

  • Proven experience in software development and maintenance
  • Experience working with a modern framework like Angular or React
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Understanding of server-side management practices
  • Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

  • It is preferred that interested candidates have a Bachelor Degree in the field of Computer Science or any other relevant area to accomplish the tasks.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum 2 year of professional experience as a Front End Developer
