JOB DESCRIPTION –PHP Front-End Developer

Kosovo Advisory, Products, and Systems (KS-APS) is a consulting firm based in Kosovo that provides high quality services to clients in the areas of financial management, innovation products, and communications. We serve clients worldwide who operate in the international humanitarian and development sectors.         KS-APS is part of the International Advisory, Products and Systems (i-APS) Affiliate Firm Network. i-APS Affiliate Firms in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa are independently-owned and locally-operated (For more information about i-APS see: www.i-APS.com.) KS-APS is seeing to fill the position of: PHP Front-end Developer.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop new UI in Javascript, Bootstrap (HTML + CSS), and JQuery
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Develop and or take over responsibilities for developing software that is already partially built. Frequent usage of WordPress and Moodle as main CMSs (Content Management System), using PHP.
  • Show and further acquire strong knowledge on using version control systems, preferably, Github or Bitbucket
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Present work and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders and facilitate communication among them.
  • Submit progress reports to Product Development Manager.

Skills to be demonstrated:

  • Proven experience in software development and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Understanding of server-side management practices
  • Fixing any website issues or bugs that arise.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

  • It is preferred that interested candidates have a Bachelor Degree in the field of Computer Science or any other relevant area to accomplish the tasks.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum 1 year of professional experience as a Front End Developer
